DAY 4: GENOA, ITALY

Explore all that the uncrowded and unspoilt city of Genoa in Italy has to offer. Take a break in one of the many restaurants and cafes around to experience the mouthwatering local dishes such as onion and cheese focaccia, various fritters, seafood dishes, pesto and corzetti. Before you go, you just have to try the city’s oldest dessert, gobeletti, which is a type of jam tart, to end your trip.

Well worth a visit, Porto Antico which is Genoa’s old port, features the largest aquarium in Europe, botanical garden with Biosphere, and for picturesque views of the city, take the lift up to the top of the 40 metre high Bigo Crane.
