API Information for Airlines
What is API?
API is your advance passenger information required by certain airlines before travel. In the table bellow, there is a guidance on how to complete your API in each airline website.
You will need the following information before you complete the API:
full name ( this has to be exactly the same as on your passport / ID card),
date of birth,
passport number/ID card,
gender,
nationality,
expiry date for the identification document,
the country the identification was issued.

British Airways
YOU ARE REQUIRED TO PROVIDE API INFORMATION TO THIS AIRLINE
Please use the following information to log in on the British Airways website. Click on the "Manage" link at the top of the page. Please ensure you have all the following details:
Booking Reference:
- This number is not your booking reference given by Malta Paradise.
- It is a 6 digit number and letter mixture, an example is 5PVSW6.
- You can view this on your invoice next to your name or obtain it by phoning the call centre. You may have a separate PNR for inbound and outbound or one PNR for the return journey.
Surname:
- This is the lead surname on the booking.
- Sometimes you may have two booking references on the booking, please check the surname opposite the booking reference.

EasyJet
YOU ARE REQUIRED TO PROVIDE API INFORMATION TO THIS AIRLINE
Please choose the tab that says ‘No, someone else made the booking’. Please use the following information to log in on the EasyJet airlines website. Please ensure you have all the following details:
Booking Reference:
- This number is not your booking reference given by Malta Paradise.
- It is a 7 digit number and letter mixture an example is EPVSQW6.
- You can view this on your invoice next to your name or obtain it by phoning the call centre you may have a separate PNR for inbound and outbound, or one PNR for the return journey.
First Name and Surname:
- This is the lead surname on the booking.
- Sometimes you have two booking reference on the booking please check the surname opposite the booking reference.

Travel Date:
The date you will leave the UK.
